By the end of this year, Google will begin issuing a warning symbol for any website that has a text field that’s not encrypted. In addition, it will begin taking secureness into account when issuing website rankings. This means if your website uses HTTP instead of HTTPS, your credibility will be lessened in the eyes of Google and are likely to appear lower on the list of search results.
If you’re not already in the process of converting your website to HTTPS, you may want to talk to your web developer or web hoster to update it.
